YEAR 2020 SNIPPETS

This year 2020 and the abnormality of it! Mostly, should we say it has been Bizarre? Moreso, Exceptional, Unusual, Strange, Weird, and Unexpected?

Meanwhile, it is the first anniversary of COVID. Even then, many countries are still heading into lockdowns ahead of Christmas. On the other hand, the Vaccine is here. Additionally, more Immunizations are en-route to states. Furthermore, efforts of Vaccination campaigns are on.

Most importantly, there is the hope of a commonplace 2021.

As a reflection on this past year, here are a few snips of our newly found daily lives—illustrations by Vikrant Dalvi.

Just a Little Bit More…

~ “The Great Realization,” a post-pandemic bedtime tale by Tomos Roberts. And, the story behind it.

~ Also, an illustrated children’s book “to ease kids’ anxiety about the coronavirus.” Certainly, this has been our favorite these days.

~ A Quarantine Horror Movie. Surely, it made me cringe. In this case, because it is based on many true stories.

~ With this in mind, a cold winter survival guide

~ Markedly, the year of Hygge pronounced as “Hoo-Guh.”

~ Make-believe Hygge December needs this Sheepskin, some Wallpaper inspiration, and this “venture into the woods” Candle Fragrance.

~ Still, If you are not cozy enough, you need this

Finally, I am back to posting in this Miradii Space! Admittedly, it has been a long time away. My last post was on our design project for my sister-in-law's Dermatology office-based clinic in Mumbai. And then, I just felt that if I needed the motivation to create more on Miradii, it would have to be another one on Design. So, I waited for something close to my heart to be done. And it is the time!
Admittedly, the dormancy is finally over! Indeed, this is an exceptionally close-to-my-heart post. Professionally working in the Healthcare architecture/Design industry, I have been waiting in latency to blog on our very own design and architecture project. Last year, when my sister-in-law determined to establish her own Dermatology office-based clinic practice for advanced skin and hair care, she approached Vikrant and me to create and design a clinic.
